One of my first years in MOPS I found out about Resurrection Rolls. They are so easy and also fun for the kids. I only need four ingredients: Canned biscuits, large white marshmallows, melted butter, and cinnamon sugar.
The flattened biscuit represents the tomb.
The marshmallow represents the pure body of Christ who died on the cross to forgive our sins.
The
kids rolled the marshmallow in the melted butter and then in the
spices. This reminds us of the oil and spices that anointed His body
before burial.
We put the marshmallow inside the biscuit and sealed it closed,.
Finished. Some of the marshmallow leaked out because I didn't seal them good enough.
The tomb is Empty!! JESUS IS ALIVE!!!
They are yummy too! Finger licking good!
Sweet!
