This week Micah and I have been doing school work that somehow relates to the letter "S". Our verse for the week was "Sing to the Lord a new song." Psalm 96:1 I use the verses from Heart of the Matter Online.
We enjoyed a Mini-unit on the Senses that I found on Pintrest :) I don't follow anything exactly like it says...but I used the general ideas. I forgot to take pictures of the smells. I was actually pretty nauseated smelling the mixture of balsamic vinegar, aftershave, vanilla extract, etc.

Elizabeth has to be in the middle of what we're doing. She loved sugar :)

I let Micah pick out a few "S" topics that we looked up online and watched little videos about.
He chose snakes, sharks, scuba divers, space shuttles, and Smurfs :)
Fun week!
Just so you know, this doesn't take much time. We did M, W, F for maybe an hour a day. (He did "Jesus Work" with Poppy on Tuesday and MOPS on Thursday). Sometimes he spent longer if he got caught up in the fun of discovery.
